I and my collaborators help clients create considerate websites, applications, and physical products.
Browse my portfolio of past projects. I’ve worked with leading companies in healthcare, consumer electronics, manufacturing, and other industries.
No two projects are exactly the same but they have common threads. Read a brief overview of my recommended approach to create great products.
I’m influenced by design that improves our quality of life and work. How can I help with your project?

I want to tell you about some of my favorite projects.
I lead all phases of the product design process.
Definition is about finding good answers to big questions. Why is this important to your business? Who are the people it will impact, and how? What are their goals and motivations? What do they do without it? Definition sets us up for success by providing a solid foundation for decisions, unifying the team's focus, and ensuring that focus is on the things that matter most.
We rely on this shared foundation of knowledge as the product takes shape. What features should it have? How will information be organized so people can find what they're looking for? How will people navigate through and interact with the product? How will it look, what will it say? And perhaps most importantly, what are the capabilities and constraints of the technologies to be used in development?
Usability testing allows us to validate decisions and find ways to further improve our designs. It can also be a guidepost to the next round of feature enhancements on the product roadmap. Usability testing can happen in a polished lab space in front of one-way glass, or in an office setting, or even remotely. All we need is a prototype and a person.
